Lisa M. Johnson, MSN, NP-C - Neuroscience

Lisa Johnson completed her undergraduate degree in Marketing and Communications at the University of California , San Diego in 1989 and her Bachelor’s in Science in Nursing at California State University , Long Beach in 1995.   She later completed her Masters of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 1999 and became board certified that same year.  Later, Lisa Johnson received her certificate as a First Surgical Assistant at the University of California , Los Angeles in 1998, becoming specialized in Neurosurgery.  She has been with the NeuroWellness Group for over 12 years.  Her responsibilities are both in the office setting as well as in each of the five hospitals the group is on staff at.  She examines patients, performs history and physicals, assists in the operating room, rounds on post-operative patients, and is seen in the emergency room and the intensive care units.  Her main function is to support the needs of the neuroscience patient and provide optimal clinical care and follow up.
